Naimisharanya Dham, also known as Nimsar, is an ancient Hindu pilgrimage site in the Sitapur district of Uttar Pradesh, situated on the banks of the Gomti River, roughly 94 km from Lucknow. Revered as the spot where the 18 Puranas were composed, it is considered one of the most sacred forest hermitages in Hindu scriptures.

Chakra Teerth:
The most prominent site in Naimisharanya. According to mythology, this sacred circular pool was formed when Lord Brahma's Sudarshan Chakra struck the earth. Taking a holy dip here is believed to cleanse all sins.
